A Picture can say a Thousand Words - Seth Stout

I wonder why some people automatically relate the wild to Eden, or a state of Eden. Now a day, there are more people who do not follow a religion that has this Eden like state of place. I am curious if other people’s depiction of the wild instills this image or thought that there is an Eden like place out there and not one’s following of a religion. Especially if people have positive connotations of the wild; from which these depictions place the wild on this pedestal. Then from this pedestal the wild seems to be more of a “divine” place.
