Movie with Bees and Ants - Gordon Mallonee

Also at some point this semester we watched a movie that show the workings of a bee hive. i thought that it was interesting how the bees would dance and in doing so would be able to give very detailed directions to other bees about flower locations and wind speeds. i believe that in the same movie there was a part about ants. ants are very interesting little things. they can carry objects many more times their own body weight. it was cool to see in the inside of an ant hill and how a male ant was trying to get to the queen and was attacked along the way. its weird how all the ants know that they have a job to do and that it can vary depending on the situation. it is also a little unnerving to know that ants outnumber humans 1 million to 1. if they ever were able to unite under a common banner and attack us humans we would have a real problem on our hands.
