Ladders to the Heavens - Seth Stout

There was a brief discussion on pillars, in class. I thought about the meaning behind pillars because I was curious if they could have a significant meaning similar to that of circles and cycles. What I came to find out was that pillars are not only a means of structural support but a way to represent the passing of one’s spirit or soul from the Earth to the Heavens.
