Following in their Footsteps - Seth Stout

I have come to find out how many similarities there are between my brother, my father, and I. This is interesting because my brother is three years older than me and he went to college at William and Mary after high school and is now just graduating. I, much like my brother, went to college after high school and here I am at CNU. The thing about the locations of our colleges is that it led my brother away from home along with his influence on me and my father’s influence on him and my choice in college led to the same lack of influence. The funny thing is that my brother is getting married so there are many events that encompass my brother’s views and my father’s views (which is another story upon itself) and when I listen to what they say I notice similarities between their thoughts and mine. This leads me to wonder if be away from family brings you closer to them or do you just realize how similar you are when you are together.
