My Dogs - Seth Stout
Throughout my life my family has had three pet dogs, two of which have passed away. I also live out in the country so my house is surrounded by trees and the woods. Needless to say, that both my dogs were hit by speeding cars while crossing the country road in front of my house. I remember that my dad did the same thing for both of dogs. What he did was place them in the wheel-barrow and took them to the back yard where we had a ceremony for them. After the ceremony my mom, my brother, and I would go back inside and my dad would stay outside to put the dogs out of their misery. When he put the dogs out of their misery he would then take the dogs into the woods and bury them. Now I see the act of burring them as them returning to their natural habitat, the wild.
